Becker School is looking for a SEND Personal Care Assistant to join our supportive and nurturing community in Batley. This full-time, term-time only position offers a basic salary of £20,422.00 - £22,160.57, along with benefits such as a company pension, life assurance, and an employee discount scheme.

Job Summary:
- Support children with special educational needs, providing learning, care, and personal support.
- Work as part of the school team in developing personal care programmes for pupils.
- Assist with daily routines like feeding, dressing, toileting (including nappy changes), and hygiene.
- Support pupils with learning, personal care, and social interaction.
- Monitor pupils by observational assessment and record their achievement, progress, and development.
Main Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pupils in implementing their personal care programmes during the school day.
- Provide practical assistance in relation to identified physical needs.
- Maintain and clean personal care equipment and supplies.
- Liaise with parents and carers to ensure continuity of care.
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils in the classroom.
Qualifications:
- High standard of general education including good proven numeracy and literacy skills.
- Successful relevant experience of working with children within a learning environment or nursery setting.
