Key Responsibilities of the Wireman Team Leader:
- Oversee the Wiring Cell Team, ensuring they meet cost, quality, and delivery KPIs
- Allocate work to support the manufacturing programme and achieve wiring hour targets
- Ensure relevant health, safety, and environmental requirements are in place
- Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Liaise closely with the Production Cell Team, Production Manager, and Engineering Team
- Undertake hands-on Assembly and Wiring activities alongside the Wiring Cell Team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Time-served Electrical Apprenticeship
- Extensive experience in Assembly and Wiring of Control Panels and Equipment
- Proven track record as a working Manufacturing Team Leader
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various teams
