Heat Interface Engineer required by a rapidly growing and stable energy services business to cover multiple sites in and around London in this mobile role.

Candidates will have experience of commissioning, servicing and repairing Heat Interface Units (HIUs). Working on low pressure / low temperature systems in domestic properties, this is a varied and technically interesting role. You will receive lots of ongoing training as this business really invests in its staff. This company can offer career progression.

The Heat Interface Engineer role:

  • To work on low pressure/ low temperature (up to 80C) installations in client properties
  • To service and repair HIU installations
  • Commissioning of HIUs
  • To repair pipework and work on associated fixtures and fittings
  • To replace meters within the HIU
  • To carry out minor electrical repairs within the confines of the HIU
  • Attend callouts when required
  • To work on weekend on-call rota (usually 1 weekend in 4/5)

The Heat Interface Engineer:

  • Candidates will have experience of commissioning, servicing and repairing Heat Interface Units (HIUs).
  • Will have a relevant plumbing qualification at level 2 (or equivalent) as a minimum
  • Will have an unvented hot water certificate (or equivalent)
  • Will have a Part E electrical qualification (or equivalent)
