We are seeking a driven and self-motivated 3rd Line IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our busy IT Team based in Enfield. You must be proficient with technologies and hardware and excel in high-pressure environments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, extensive knowledge of data laws and excellent problem-solving, analytical and time-management skills. Your approach should be customer focused, working to establish the underlying needs of internal and external customers.
As some travel across sites will be required it is essential that the right candidate has a full driving license and access to a car during working hours.
Role priorities include:
- Supporting the effective delivery of the IT Service across the organisation to our key stakeholders.
- Leading on promoting an effective IT service that ensures that our systems and IT infrastructure is protected from external threats.
- Providing exceptional general IT support as well as Microsoft / VMware Server installation, Windows deployment, configuration and upgrading of server/client software and related products.
- Supporting in the designing, building, deploying, and maintenance of the IT network.
- Maintaining servers and networking devices, proactively detecting, and fixing any potential or real issues.
- Bringing a flexible and dynamic approach to support the Head of IT, to ensure that our IT infrastructure is secure and up to date.
- Being accountable and sharing ownership of the team’s targets and service standards as agreed with Head of IT.
