About the Team: The Investment Strategy Office comprises over 25 professionals focused on market analysis, asset allocation, risk management, and investment science. The Capital Markets Research team identifies risks, trends, and opportunities in global markets. Investment Directors analyze market dynamics, produce high-quality publications, develop investment views, and interpret market movements. This role is based in Boston or London.

What You’ll Do:

  • Author Research Publications: Produce 10–15 publications annually on market developments, asset classes, and asset allocation, including blogs, quick responses, chart books, and detailed reports.
  • Communicate Investment Views: Share insights within the firm and with clients, providing regular market updates and addressing bespoke topics.
  • Serve as an Asset Class Expert: Develop expertise in select asset classes to advise the Tactical Asset Allocation Committee and clients.
  • Enhance Market Analytics: Refine analytics and develop innovative approaches to understanding markets.
  • Build Networks: Cultivate relationships with colleagues, clients, prospects, and other firms to share insights and influence decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Teammates: Work closely with a 20-person team, embracing feedback and mentoring junior members, fostering a culture of collaboration and boldness.

What You Bring:

  • BA/BS required; MBA or CFA strongly preferred.
  • Fascination with global investment markets.
  • Excellent writing skills; a writing exercise may be required.
  • Knowledge of statistics or programming languages like R or Python is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
