Are you a highly experienced Cardiac Physiologist looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Chief Cardiac Physiologist to join a dedicated Cardiology team in Hertfordshire.
As Chief Cardiac Physiologist, you will lead the delivery and development of high-quality diagnostic and interventional cardiac services. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, provide advanced clinical expertise, and supervise a team of physiologists to ensure excellent patient care across a broad range of cardiac investigations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the daily operation of the cardiac diagnostics department.
- Perform and interpret a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures, including echocardiography, stress testing, and ambulatory monitoring.
- Support the development and implementation of clinical protocols and service improvements.
- Mentor and supervise junior staff, ensuring ongoing training and development.
- Maintain high standards of clinical governance, audit, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cardiology consultants and the wider healthcare team to optimise patient pathways.
- BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent.
- RCCP or AHCS registration (or eligibility).
- Extensive experience in a range of cardiac diagnostic procedures.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising staff or services.
