This exciting role focuses on managing and expanding social media presence across all Currys career channels, from LinkedIn to TikTok. You'll also be instrumental in growing our colleague ambassador program. With social media growth being a key priority, this is a fantastic opportunity to bring fresh ideas and innovate within a brand that truly encourages new approaches.
As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing our social media content calendar, collaborating closely with our Communications teams and external employer brand agency to ensure a steady stream of high-quality, relevant content is scheduled across all channels.
- Creating and capturing compelling new content by sourcing stories from our intranet and visiting different Currys sites, ensuring everything we share reflects our employee value proposition (EVP) and supports our talent attraction goals.
- Partnering with our employer brand agency to brainstorm and plan upcoming posts, staying on top of the latest social media trends and adapting our strategy accordingly.
- Growing and managing our colleague ambassador program, providing our ambassadors with engaging content and supporting them in developing their social media skills.
- Supporting advocacy plans and projects, with a strong focus on engaging our colleagues and building a vibrant community.
- Leading on a variety of employer brand projects as defined by our Employer Brand and EVP teams.
- Analysing and reporting on social media performance, sharing insights and opportunities with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Supporting talent attraction marketing campaigns by leading the social media component, including paid advertising.
You will need:
- A genuine passion for and proven success in leading social media initiatives, from sparking creative ideas to producing and delivering compelling content.
- A collaborative spirit, with the ability to adapt your approach to effectively engage diverse candidate markets, considering cultural, demographic, and geographical nuances.
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrated through your experience in crafting engaging social media content, including strong copywriting and asset creation.
- Confidence in presenting information and a readiness to coach and guide others on social media best practices.
- Ideally an understanding of the recruitment landscape, including understanding candidate behaviours, employer branding, various job boards, and current talent acquisition trends.
- A true advocate for employer branding, with clear insights into how it shapes the candidate experience and influences communications.
