We are currently recruiting a dedicated Assistant Operations Manager to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in CH&CO on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week. As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering strong relationships with venue clients through daily communication to ensure seamless operations.
  • Overseeing the delivery of high-quality food and beverage services, maintaining exceptional standards.
  • Motivating and inspiring team members, adapting to dynamic client and customer needs.
  • Upholding and promoting CSR, sustainability, equality, and diversity initiatives.
  • Managing ordering processes, delivery schedules, and venue readiness for events.
  • Maximising sales and controlling costs by driving spend per head (SPH) and minimising wastage.
  • Supporting recruitment, training, and performance management to build a motivated and inclusive team.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and profit protection standards.

Our ideal Assistant Operations Manager will:

  • Have experience of overseeing the smooth delivery of high-quality food and drink products.
  • Have an understanding and willingness to work some unsociable hours (lates/weekends).
  • Be able to motivate and inspire both yourself and the team.

  • Ensure catering areas are presentable for client show rounds and ready for live operations.

  • Manage labour scheduling, spending, and forecasting with HR support.
  • Continuously improve service, product offerings, and operational procedures.
