A leading FTSE-listed property developer is looking to recruit a talented and detail-orientated Group Finance Analyst to join their Financial Reporting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to gain exposure to complex Group structures, high-quality reporting, and transformation initiatives within a collaborative and high-performing environment. The role offers a great platform for career development within a well-known and prestigious business.

The Group Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the external reporting process, including the preparation of the Group’s consolidated Half-Year and Year-End results, as well as statutory accounts for subsidiaries and joint ventures. You will work closely with external auditors and a range of internal stakeholders, helping to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of financial information.

The role also includes elements of business partnering, with regular interaction with regional finance teams to support their submissions and ensure alignment with Group requirements. In addition, the position offers the opportunity to contribute to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives, working closely with senior leaders on projects that drive efficiency and enhance reporting quality.

The successful candidate will be ACA qualified (or equivalent), with a strong grounding in financial accounting and experience preparing or reviewing financial statements under IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102. You will be confident interpreting accounting standards, managing multiple priorities, and working to tight deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build effective working relationships across the business. Experience working with or for external auditors will be highly valuable.

You should also be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have excellent attention to detail. Experience from audit of a large group, particularly involving consolidations and joint ventures, would be an advantage, as would a proactive mindset and a desire to challenge existing processes and drive improvements.

This is a high-visibility role with excellent learning potential for someone who enjoys technical accounting, external reporting, and contributing to meaningful change in a dynamic group finance function.
