Salary up to £40,000

We’re hiring an experienced Transport Planner to lead a fast-paced transport and logistics operation in North London. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a team-driven environment and enjoys taking ownership of delivery operations and stock movement.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Leading a team of upwards of 17 drivers and 8 packers to ensure efficient daily operations
• Managing route planning and logistics scheduling across multiple sites and delivery zones
• Overseeing stock flow, accuracy, and handling of a wide range of product lines
• Supervising site operations alongside an Assistant Transport Manager
• Ensuring compliance with all transport and safety regulations
• Supporting performance reviews, training, and continuous team development

Ideal Background:

You may come from a background in:

• Builders Merchants / Building Products
• Distribution Centres / Trade Suppliers
• Courier / Delivery Logistics
• Wholesale or Warehousing

What We’re Looking For:

✅ Strong team leadership in a warehouse or depot

✅ Confident with stock systems, multi-drop routing, and KPI delivery

✅ Experience managing HGV/van drivers

✅ Excellent communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
