About Us: David Lewis School provides specialist day and residential education for children and young people aged 11-19 with autism, epilepsy, complex neurological conditions, and learning difficulties. Every student has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), and we are committed to delivering personalised, high-quality support that empowers each individual to thrive.

The Role: As EHCP & Transitions Manager, you will lead on the coordination, review, and development of EHCPs, ensuring that each plan reflects the unique needs and aspirations of our students. You will also play a key role in supporting smooth transitions both into and out of school, working closely with families, professionals, and local authorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and reviewing EHCPs in line with statutory requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective support planning.
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting support strategies as needed.
  • Leading transition planning and supporting students through key life stages.
