This position works with senior management to identify and implement opportunities for strategic growth and to evaluate medium to long term investment opportunities for the QSR and Foodservice sectors of EMEA Flavour Solutions Division.
Provide influence and leadership towards the achievement of financial objectives and business improvement programs.
Influence all key business decisions affecting the QSR and Foodservice sectors in EMEA, providing financial and business support to commercial directors and their teams.
Collaborate with commercial teams in customer negotiations, including preparing for and participating in face-to-face meetings.
Understand the business end-to-end, including marketplaces, and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
Ensure optimal allocation of McCormick resources across functions including R&D and Operations.
Lead a team of 2 qualified accountants based in the UK and France.
Work with global colleagues on QSR business initiatives.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Finance or Accounting.
- 8+ years post-qualification experience in FMCG / manufacturing, preferably in a commercial business partner role.
- Experience in multi-site/cultural/product environments and international business.
- Proven record in strategic contribution, change leadership, and supporting rapid growth phases.
- Experience in M&A and developing growth strategies through business relationships.
- Results-oriented, performance-driven, with a focus on excellence.
- Ability to manage a multicultural team of qualified accountants remotely and locally.
- Strong technical skills and experience with top-tier management information processes.
- Experience working in a matrix finance environment and partnering with other functional areas.
- Proven ability to provide value-added operational analysis.
- Skilled in simplifying complex situations and providing clear recommendations.
- Competent in complex customer negotiations and face-to-face meetings to safeguard and enhance McCormick’s commercial position.
