Role: Our client is looking for a talented Sign Maker/Fitter to join their production team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to build a successful career with a growing and progressive company.
As a skilled Sign Maker, you will be responsible for:
- Vinyl and large format print application
- Backing up fret-cut aluminium fascias
- Extrusion fabrication
- Acrylic fabrication
- Populating and wiring LEDs
- General assembly duties
You will work in a fast-paced environment and will need to have good physical strength and stamina, a strong work ethic, and be willing to assist other team members whenever necessary.
Experience within various types of signage i.e. acrylic, vinyl, fascias, LEDs etc.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Sign fabrication
- Machine operating
- Quality checking
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Interpreting briefs and drawings accurately
- Applying Vinyl to foamex, di bond, acrylic
- Applying Vehicle Graphics
- Sign fitting including fascias, vinyls, flex face etc.
Our client is also looking for candidates who have experience with gilding, laminating, woodwork, operating CNC machines and letter building.
Requirements:
- Experience within signage and large format print production
- Previous experience manufacturing
- Competent with vinyl production, print finishing etc.
- Ability to work with hand tools
- Technical minded
- Self-motivated and driven
