This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Contract Manager who is very personable with good commercial awareness to progress to the next level. You will have regular interaction with project managers and contracts managers from the top 10 UK construction companies. Spend 50% in the office and 50% of your time on sites. Dealing with your own projects from start to finish, electrical installation values would range from £100k - £1 Million. Management and correct allocation of labour and materials is essential, working on small to large construction projects within commercial. This role will be based from the Manchester depot.

As the successful Electrical Contracts Engineer / Manager, you will be:

  • Responsible for the management of electrical labour and materials, electricians, mates and improvers.
  • Taking responsibility for spend on projects.
  • Liaising with clients, site supervisors, and project managers.
  • Given an excellent opportunity for progression.
  • Overseeing running the P&L for projects.
  • Occasionally in the office and majority will be site based in the North West of England, office based near Manchester.

As the successful Electrical Contracts Engineer / Manager, you will need:

  • To be JIB qualified Electrician / Manager.
  • Experience in SWA, lighting, containment work within commercial or utilities sites.
  • Good commercial site experience.
  • To be a commutable distance from Manchester.

Salary up to £55k basic + package.
