Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team, based in Havant. You will be working on a full-time permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus vehicle allowance plus excellent benefits!

Responsibilities for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role will include:
- Assist with tender bids, quotations, and contract documentation
- Review contracts, identify risks, and support the bid team
- Provide commercial support, including quantity surveying and financial forecasting
- Obtain quotes for sub-contracts and materials within budget
- Foster collaboration across teams and ensure project success
- Maintain accurate records and assist with material quantification
- Support new contract mobilisation and key commercial tasks
- Promote best practices and innovation
- Monitor project costs, progress, and quality
- Lead and empower direct reports to align with company priorities
- Represent Liberty externally and ensure compliance with policies
- Lead risk management for Commercial and H&C business units
- Accountable for operational and financial performance of the units
What we are looking for in our ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Good level education (e.g., GCSEs in Maths and English)
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations (Desirable)
- Relevant degree (e.g., Quantity Surveying or Construction Management) (Desirable)
- Member of RICS or similar professional body
- CSCS card (Desirable)
- Experience in social housing (Desirable)
- Leadership and team management experience
- Budget management, business planning, and performance reporting
- Report writing and presenting (CVR)
- Experience with computerised databases and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage resources
- Analytical and sound decision-making abilities
