A contractor specialising in facade is seeking an experienced Cladding BIM Designer to join their team in Essex.
Salary: Up to £55,000, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all construction drawings and designs are produced on time and to a high standard.
- Manage the development and implementation of design proposals, meeting client expectations and budget constraints.
- Oversee the design process using technical expertise, maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with ISO9001.
- Present proposals for client approval and coordinate the submission of information for building control compliance.
- Lead the coordination and production of design data, reports, and project documentation, reporting progress against deliverables.
- Review architectural and product technical data to ensure compliance and develop construction solutions.
- Coordinate subcontractor drawings, resolve conflicts, and produce cohesive designs.
- Support all departments throughout design and construction phases and attend design meetings.
- Prepare site reports on progress, quality, and compliance; stay up to date with industry trends.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of hard metal roofing and cladding design experience preferred.
- Full driving licence required.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Construction/design-related HNC/HND/Degree advantageous.
- Proven ability to deliver quality design information to project requirements.
- High-level competency with AutoCAD and BIM.
- Knowledge of approved document part B and NHBC conditions essential.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of core construction principles.
- Ability to communicate construction concepts visually and verbally.
