About The Role The Head of Clinical Services has a key leadership, assurance, and management role at a senior level. They will provide clinical skills and knowledge to support the organisation in delivering care to patients. The post holder is responsible for ensuring high standards of clinical care, creating an environment conducive to the well-being of staff and patients, and contributing to effective budget management. As a clinical leader, the Head of Clinical Services oversees training and development within the scope of clinical practice at Practice Plus Group Southampton Hospital and Urgent Treatment Centre, as well as other satellite sites, promoting high standards of care and clinical development. What you\’ll be doing Working alongside our Hospital Director, you will help organise clinical strategies and models of care to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-focused, safe, and effective care that meets the highest clinical standards and outcomes. You will ensure patients receive excellent clinical outcomes and high patient satisfaction. You will assist the Group Director of Nursing in developing and implementing a robust clinical governance framework. This involves monitoring clinical outcomes, analysing data related to KPIs, clinical risk, and audits within the Practice Plus Group governance program. You will be responsible for planning and implementing patient-centered healthcare, working as part of a multi-professional team while taking overall clinical responsibility for all clinical staff. What we\’ll look for in you We seek a professional and compassionate leader who can oversee staff at all levels, ensuring professional standards are maintained and staff are supported in their development, training, and competency assessments.
