Job Description
- Advising customers on offshore wind applications and instrumentation best practices
- Providing technical input on tenders, specs, proposals, and bids
- Supporting the sales team with compelling, engineering-led solutions
- Managing technical handover into project delivery
- Attending UK and international sites for meetings, installs, or commissioning
- Staying up to speed with the competitive landscape and helping shape the roadmap
The Individual: We’re looking for someone who thrives in a technical, client-facing role, with a background in offshore wind, power systems, or T&D.You should have:
- Experience in renewables or electrical power (preferably offshore wind)
- Understanding of HV cable systems, instrumentation, and protection
- Confidence preparing and presenting technical documents to internal and external stakeholders
- Willingness to travel UK and internationally when needed
It’d be a bonus if you also bring:
- Offshore wind or grid protection sales experience
- Site commissioning/testing background
- Familiarity with fibre optic monitoring
- A Master’s in a relevant subject
