Brief Description

About The Role
Our Shared Services team deliver specialist processes that have a direct impact on the performance of Network Rail, our customers, and suppliers. These services include payroll, recruitment and onboarding, payables, receivables, financial accounting, reporting, controls and compliance, and helpdesk support.
Main Responsibilities
- Support the business in recruiting dedicated, ambitious, talented people in a variety of roles Nationwide.
- Administer the end-to-end recruitment cycle, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews and assessments, assisting at assessment centres and processing onboarding activity.
- Take pride in your work, use your initiative, manage your own workload and be willing to travel nationally to support assessment events.
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent communication skills; able to communicate changes to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills; able to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
- Great attention to detail and accuracy; analysing data, producing reports and performing audit activities.
- Exceptional customer focus/engagement skills; dealing with queries from external stakeholders.
- Understanding of Data Protection Legislation.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office packages including Excel.
What could set you apart?
- Practical experience administering the recruitment lifecycle (i.e. candidate shortlisting, booking an interview, onboarding, pre-employment checks).
- Occupational knowledge of shared services and/or working in a volume driven recruitment environment.
- ORACLE eBusiness Suite experience.
