Antrim with required travel to sites within the UK Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our clients Human Resources team.
This role involves providing comprehensive HR support across all aspects of the employee life cycle, ensuring compliance with legislation, and contributing to the development of HR best practices within the company.
Day-to-day of the role: Manage the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for candidates Handle employee relations matters including disciplinary actions, grievances, and welfare issues efficiently and in compliance with internal procedures Develop and support training and development initiatives such as apprenticeships and graduate training programs Oversee the leaver process, conduct exit interviews, and ensure all necessary documentation and records are maintained Coordinate employee appraisals to monitor performance and identify training needs Manage employee transfers, promotions, and other changes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and updated in HR systems Provide advice on terms & conditions and HR issues to employees and managers Develop and implement new HR policies and procedures and provide training to enhance managerial skills Conduct market benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning in the labour market Maintain HR records in compliance with GDPR and quality standards, and contribute to reporting as required Support company-wide initiatives aimed at motivating, retaining, and engaging staff Ensure confidentiality and integrity in all HR activities Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and training & development Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practices Professional and organised approach to work, with the ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effective interaction at all levels High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling HR activities Problem-solving skills with a proactive and flexible approach to changing demands Proficient IT skills, including experience with HR systems Willingness to travel as required to fulfil job responsibilities Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package > £35k pa + excellent benefits Opportunities for professional development and training Dynamic and supportive work environment To apply for the HR Advisor position, please submit your CV today for an initial confidential discussion.
