This is a Full-Time role (40 hours per week) with no option for part-time work. While it is a remote-first opportunity, candidates must be residents of the Netherlands, the UK, Pennsylvania, New York, DC, or Brazil at the start of employment and within commuting distance of our offices in Amsterdam, London, Philadelphia, New York City, Washington, or São Paulo.
About the Team
The Knowledge Team at B Lab supports the organization's certification program by developing and organizing information related to Standards, Certification, and Product Delivery. They create resources, training materials, manage customer service systems, and maintain knowledge bases to ensure smooth operations and access to information.
About the Opportunity
B Lab Global seeks a passionate Instructional Designer to develop and deliver e-learning courses, webinars, and learning solutions focused on B Lab's standards and assurance processes. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts and working independently in a remote, global environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Instructional Design (50%): Manage projects, design course objectives, develop content, and facilitate blended learning solutions.
- Course Development (40%): Create multimedia courses in Thinkific, incorporate various media, ensure accessibility, and support content migration.
- Admin, Maintenance & Facilitation (10%): Troubleshoot technical issues, update content, and support LMS administration.
Major Objectives (First 6-12 Months)
- Develop micro-learning courses supporting operational changes.
- Plan and host live sessions to complement e-learning.
- Promote engagement and track learning outcomes.
About You
2-4 years in instructional design, media production, and eLearning tools. Proficiency with LMS, video editing, graphic design. Experience with remote video creation, storytelling, and facilitation. Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills. Passion for social and environmental impact, fluency in English. Preferred but not required: experience in communications, writing, filmmaking, or additional languages.
Compensation
Salary: £45,000 - £48,200, plus benefits including vacation, health insurance, life insurance, pension, and flexible work arrangements.
