We are recruiting for the role of Hospital Link Worker to join our Mental Health Link Worker Service designed to support people presenting with emotional distress at the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) and the Emergency Department (ED) at Colchester Hospital.
As a Link Worker, you will:
- Offer person centred, empathic support to people experiencing emotional and mental health distress who are accessing UTC and ED after triage.
- Liaise closely with the hospital triage team and other clinical teams within Colchester General Hospital.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with the hospital teams, Link Volunteers, NEE Sanctuary and other partnerships.
