This is a great opportunity to join an established and highly successful, privately owned financial services SME, looking to bring on a commercially focused Finance Director to partner directly with the Business Owners and help drive the company’s long-term strategy.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of the business, leading day to day financial operations, improving systems and reporting, and supporting key decisions at board level. It’s a broad role that blends hands-on delivery with strategic input and comes with the potential for equity in the future.
Known for their long-term client relationships, technical expertise and highly personalised approach, the business combines a professional yet down to earth culture. There’s a genuine focus on succession planning, developing people from within and creating long term career opportunities.
Salary: £90,000 to £110,000 + Bonus, Enhanced Holiday, Private Medical, and Life Assurance + Equity Options in the future.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the finance team while improving controls, processes and insight
- Supporting business owners and department heads with planning, budgeting and decision making
- Building out reporting and KPIs to support performance and growth
- Driving improvements across systems and automation (currently Sage 50 and Excel)
- Partnering closely with the wider leadership team across the business
What we’re looking for:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Experience in a regulated financial services environment
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands on levels
- Proven experience leading teams and improving financial processes in a growing business
