About The Role

You are someone with a keen interest in financial markets and financial planning who is passionate about writing. I’m looking for an individual who is confident generating and sharing ideas and taking the initiative to drive the business forward. You will work in a commercially focused team in a very collaborative environment. Based in our London office, you will be writing content for digital and offline channels, editing copy from stakeholders across the business, and producing literature. If you are motivated, enthusiastic, ambitious, and well-organised this role will be ideal for you. No two days are the same.
The primary role of the Technical Writer is to assist in the delivery of written content related to Quilter Cheviot's investment and financial planning strategies, ensuring it conforms to our style guide, is tailored to the intended audience and is compliant for the relevant jurisdiction.
Main responsibilities include:
- Write insightful and informative articles on financial markets and financial planning topics.
- Write, edit, proofread and produce high-quality content that reflects the identity and integrity of the brand, including brochureware, sales aids, email marketing and presentations among others.
- Assist in the creation of market commentaries, thought leadership pieces and newsletters.
- Assist in the creation of quarterly client communications.
- Provide copy as required by other members of the Marketing team, working to their brief.
- Editing written content produced by colleagues to ensure accuracy, style and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Adapt and tailor existing content for specific markets and client channels.
- Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with colleagues in the Marketing team and across the wider business.
About You
You have experience in either a writing or financial markets role. You have a sound understanding of financial markets and/or financial planning strategies and a strong desire to learn. You have exceptional writing and research skills. You have the ability to craft engaging content and messages - short and long form. You are interested in current affairs and have a good understanding of the financial services industry. You are well organised and can work to tight deadlines. You are a good communicator and can build relationships with multiple stakeholders.
