We’re working with a well-established manufacturing client near Stamford who is looking to welcome an experienced Panel Wirer to their growing electrical assembly team.
In this hands-on role, you’ll be wiring high-quality electrical control panels from engineering drawings and wiring schedules. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of electrical systems are key to success in this role.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Wiring electrical control panels and enclosures to a high standard
- Interpreting and working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Testing and fault-finding of panels prior to dispatch
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and electrical regulations
- Collaborating with design engineers and workshop teams
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Panel Wireman/Woman or in a similar electrical assembly role
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring schematics
- Familiarity with hand tools and electrical testing equipment
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (advantageous but not essential)
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not essential)
Hours & Pay
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am
Salary:
- Up to £15 per hour, depending on experience
- Bonus: Quarterly performance bonus
