Location: Near Stamford

Salary: Up to £15 per hour DOE + Quarterly Bonus

Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday–Friday)

We’re working with a well-established manufacturing client near Stamford who is looking to welcome an experienced Panel Wirer to their growing electrical assembly team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be wiring high-quality electrical control panels from engineering drawings and wiring schedules. Accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of electrical systems are key to success in this role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Wiring electrical control panels and enclosures to a high standard
  • Interpreting and working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
  • Testing and fault-finding of panels prior to dispatch
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and electrical regulations
  • Collaborating with design engineers and workshop teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Panel Wireman/Woman or in a similar electrical assembly role
  • Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and wiring schematics
  • Familiarity with hand tools and electrical testing equipment
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (advantageous but not essential)
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (preferred but not essential)

Hours & Pay

Working hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (30-minute lunch break)
  • Friday: 7:30am – 11:30am

Salary:

  • Up to £15 per hour, depending on experience
  • Bonus: Quarterly performance bonus
