Quantity Surveyor

Our Client are leading residential developer who cover the whole of the UK, they have seen year on year growth and have a strong pipeline of work for the foreseeable.

They are currently looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor for a residential development in the North London / Hertfordshire border which consists of approx 400 traditional new build houses. You will be working alongside a Senior Quantity Surveyor on the project which has another phase yet to begin which will be around another 300 units for them.

They are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Commercial Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of residential construction projects. In this role, you'll manage budgets, monitor project costs, and ensure compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and manage material and labour requirements
• Prepare and monitor budgets and forecasts
• Process payments and manage subcontractor orders and variations
• Work with internal teams to improve project cost-effectiveness
• Attend site and project meetings to assess progress and value completed works
• Maintain accurate records using COINS and other systems

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC, and HSE standards
• Relevant qualification in construction or commercial management
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and commercial systems (COINS preferred)
