Available Roles
Flex Tutor (Maths or English)
Contract: Hourly, flexible until May 2026
Hours: 0–15 hours/week – consistent weekly slot(s) based on your availability
Salary: £18/hour + holiday pay
Start: Offered sessions from September 2025 | Tuition begins October 2025
Closing Date: Friday 25th July, 5pm (may close earlier if filled)
What You’ll Do
- Deliver small-group tuition (1–3 students) in GCSE maths or English using our structured curriculum.
- Build student confidence and skills in short, high-impact weekly sessions (1–1.5 hours).
- Use our fully resourced lessons – no planning required.

Requirements
- Right to work in the UK.
- Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English and maths.
- A-level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject at grade B or above.
- Minimum 2:2 degree (or currently studying toward one).
- Availability for at least 2 hours/week for 15 weeks.
- Commitment to 2 full days of paid training.
- Travel to Hartlepool campus (or online-ready, depending on availability).
Lead Tutor (Maths or English)
Contract: Fixed-term until May 2026
Hours: Minimum 15 hours/week (part-time or full-time). Must be available Fridays 11am–12pm Salary: £23,600–£24,000 (pro rata; based on 37.5 hrs/week incl. £2,000 London weighting where applicable)
Start: Training from August–September 2025 | Tuition from September–October 2025
Closing Date: Monday 7th July, 5pm (may close earlier if filled)
What You’ll Do
- Deliver small-group tuition (1–3 students) in GCSE maths or English using our ready-to-go resources (~80% of role).
- Mentor and support Flex Tutors through peer coaching and session observations.
- Contribute to tutor training and help improve delivery materials.
- Track student progress and attendance.
- Champion a positive, high-impact learning environment.

Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English and maths
- A-level (or equivalent) in a relevant subject at grade B or above
- Undergraduate degree ( 2:1 or strong 2:2 considered )
- At least 3 months’ tutoring/teaching experience
- Minimum 15 hours/week availability + Fridays 11am–12pm
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
Paid Tutor Training Dates (Choose 2 days) In-person (priority given if local):
- 19–20 August (London)
- 2–3 September (Birmingham)
- 9–10 September (Manchester)
Online (if not near in-person venues):
- 17–18 September
