Overview

At Zaha Hadid Architects, we are seeking an Assistant Design Co-Ordinator, Building Information Modelling, to join our team in London. In this role, you will work closely with architects and designers to create high-quality designs consistent with the ZHA ethos. We are looking for someone eager to grow and learn under the guidance of senior colleagues.

Main responsibilities

• Develop 3D BIM models, 2D drawings, and schedules using Revit.
• Develop BIM projects including standards, drawings, families, and templates.
• Coordinate workflows between Maya, Rhino, Grasshopper, and Revit.
• Collaborate with the project team on international architectural projects.

• Interest in current 3D parametric and BIM developments, tools, and software.

Required experience

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Knowledge of federating BIM models using Navisworks and IFC formats.
• Experience with CDEs like BIM360.
• Fluency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Maya, Dynamo, Grasshopper.
• Strong visualization skills using Adobe Suite.
• Ability to develop BIM for various project sizes.
• Ability to produce detailed drawings to company standards.
• Willingness to train staff on BIM workflows and present effectively.

Desired skills and qualifications

• Bachelor\’s and postgraduate qualifications in Architecture or Design Technology.
• Skills in Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, and computational design (highly desirable).
• Scripting skills in C#, C++, VB, Python (highly desirable).
• Ability to automate tasks using custom tools (highly desirable).
