Overview
As a Relief Care Worker with CrossReach, you will provide compassionate, person centred care to people who rely on our services. This is a flexible role that offers variety, allowing you to work across different shifts and teams while making a meaningful difference whenever you are needed.
What Your Role Will Involve
- Providing personal and intimate care with dignity and respect
- Supporting daily routines, wellbeing and independence
- Building positive, trusting relationships with the people you support
- Assisting with meals, mobility and activities

- Completing care records in line with policies and SSSC standards

About You
You are caring, reliable and flexible, with a genuine interest in supporting people to live well. You are comfortable adapting to different settings and routines and can work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in a care role is welcome but not essential as full induction and training will be provided. You will be willing to register with the SSSC, join the PVG Scheme and work in line with the Christian ethos and values of CrossReach.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
