Senior Psychological Therapist (Clinical Psychologist), Clinical Tutor Employer: North London NHS Foundation Trust | Location: Islington, United Kingdom | Salary: Competitive | Closing date: 18 Jun 2025 Discipline: Life Sciences, Psychology, Clinical | Position Type: Permanent | Hours: Full Time Job Summary We are seeking a Band 8a Senior Psychological Therapist (Clinical Psychologist) with a 0.5 WTE role as a Clinical Tutor on the UCL Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. This split post involves 0.5 WTE in Islington Talking Therapies and 0.5 WTE with UCL. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with individuals with common mental health issues in primary care, with some management and leadership experience preferred. Responsibilities include service coordination, supervision, line management, service development, and offering a range of interventions such as CBT, EMDR, IPT, DIT, BCT, and Counselling. The role also involves supervising junior colleagues and providing training and consultation to clinical staff. Main Duties The successful candidate will work part-time with UCL as a Clinical Tutor, involved in teaching, monitoring trainee progress, research supervision, and trainee development. The role emphasizes compassionate leadership and staff wellbeing.
