Contracts Manager – Cornwall

Working across the region, they design, install and maintain systems for the \”Building Services\” sector and are now looking to grow their excellent existing teamThe role is for a \”Contract Manager\” , someone with a bit of drive and tenacity, who can successfully deliver multiple projects whilst also developing the business unit across the Cornwall regionKey Responsibilities Managing a small team of Engineers, you\’ll work closely with the Senior Management Team and be responsible for the following:Proactive management of Health & SafetyPlanning, managing, executing and controlling projectsSole responsibility for budget, programme, quality, supplier and subcontractor managementParticipate in bid/tender processesDevelop and maintain effective working relationships with clientsFull man management responsibilitiesWinning new work – identifying opportunities and securing a strong portfolio of projectsAttend networking events, representing the businessIdeally, you\’ll have at least 5 years in a CM or PM role, having worked for a Building Services Contractor, locally. In addition to this, you will have the following:Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in a Mechanical disciplineSMSTS and NEBOSH (preferred)Experience of delivering projects as the Mechanical ContractorTo have successful experience in dealing directly with Clients and the publicTo work on his/her own initiative – proven experience of winning work would be hugely advantageousThis really is a unique opportunity and trust me when I say, you don\’t want to miss out!
