HGV Class 2 Car Transporter Drivers Location: Manchester Available Shifts: * Monday to Friday – Day Shift * Monday to Friday – Tramping Delivering to: Compounds and Depots Salary: £33,153 – £36,657 (Higher end achievable with performance-based bonuses) Contract Type: Permanent Igloo is recruiting both trainee and experienced HGV Class 2 Car Transporter Drivers for our client based in Manchester. We are looking for drivers to train as car transporter drivers, as well as experienced professionals. If you’re willing to go the extra mile to deliver excellent customer service and represent the company as the face of their business, this is your chance to build a rewarding career—not just a job! About the Role * Driving an HGV car transporter carrying new or used vehicles. * Loading and unloading cars, vans, and other vehicles onto and off the transporter. * Inspecting vehicles before loading to ensure they are in good condition. * Interacting with dealerships and clients directly. * Delivering vehicles to dealerships and small businesses across the country. What We’re Looking For * A valid UK HGV Class 2 (C) licence. * At least 6 months of driving experience in the last 2 years. * An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tacho Card. * No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (minor offences only). * Confidence driving vehicles onto trailers at height. * Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to high standards. * Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
