Job Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide TSCM services for QCC Global clients in the UK and overseas. The Trainee TSCM Engineer will be supported and mentored by experienced TSCM Engineers. Due to the sensitive nature of this work, confidentiality must be maintained at all times. No prior experience is required; however, a background in engineering, electrical work, or technical surveillance is beneficial.
When not deployed on client tasks, the successful candidate will support equipment maintenance, administrative duties, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver TSCM services following QCC TSCM Service SOPs.
- Support TSCM operations by managing and maintaining the TSCM equipment register.
- Continuously learn and develop skills through on-the-job training and completion of all QCC TSCM Modules.
Qualifications
- Minimum: Maths & English GCSE (Grade 4 or above).
- Beneficial: Maths & English A Levels.
Skills
- Hardworking with strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively overseas.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Proficient in IT tools: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and data management.
- Polite and helpful engagement with customers and contractors.
Technical Experience and Knowledge
- Member of TSCMi.
- Basic knowledge of TSCM services.
- Awareness of current espionage threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
- Broad knowledge of researching, handling, and maintaining TSCM equipment.
- Experience in Communications/Engineering.
- Previous experience in an office environment is advantageous.
