Our client—a well-respected alternative asset manager—is looking for a Head of Fund Finance to lead their flagship strategy to partner directly with the Global Head of Fund Finance. This is the perfect step-up role for a seasoned Fund Controller or Senior Fund Controller seeking to lead the full fund finance agenda for this specific strategy.

What you’ll own:

  • Liquidity & Carried Interest: End-to-end oversight of fee flows, carry, and cash management.
  • Fund Launch: Lead fund-structuring, legal set-up, and investor onboarding for new products.
  • Deal Execution: Advise on transaction structuring and seamlessly embed deals into BAU.
  • Quarterly Reporting: Sign off NAVs and financials; manage the full audit cycle.
  • Service-Provider Management: Orchestrate administrators, auditors, bankers, AIFMs, and depositaries—owning KPIs.
  • Investor & Manager DD: Front-line for ODD with LPs and underlying managers; present findings to the IC.
  • Leadership: Mentor two fund finance team members and champion best-in-class processes.

What you bring:

  • Chartered accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with deep fund-accounting or controlling experience in private markets.
  • Demonstrated success managing and developing a team.
  • Track record in fund structuring & launch, and complex transaction support.
  • Confident communicator—comfortable in front of blue-chip institutional investors.
  • Collaborative mindset; thrives in agile, close-knit teams.
