Johnson Controls offers the largest portfolio of equipment, controls and services for heating, ventilating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and security systems. As an Associate Installation Engineer, you will be assisting with the installation of split, multi-split, VRV / VRF, DX systems at customer sites. We want you to maintain the relationship with our clients therefore, you need to be able to display good self-management, communication, and interpersonal skills, providing guidance and assistance to meet our customer needs.
In this role you will attend various client sites, supporting several projects, carrying out the installation and commissioning of the Air-conditioning units as well as commercial refrigeration systems.
You will be part of the VRF Installation Team, who are accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget and in a professional manner. We expect you to always adhere to all company and legal requirements including complying with Risk Assessments and Method Statements. Health & Safety is extremely important for staff, ensuring compliance with all legislation.
You will be supporting installation of HVAC equipment and pipework on customer sites, within a set timeframe and according to a defined process, therefore previous exposure and some experience will be required for the role. You will be required to support various projects and due to the nature of this role working away will be involved from time to time. Ideally we're looking for candidates based in the North of England between Newcastle - Sheffield - Leeds.
What we look for:
- Previous experience in full installation of HVAC systems including pipework, bracketry and cabling
- Experience with major manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale
- Experience & knowledge with DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant.
- Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment
- Understands and analyses relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams.
- A full UK driving license
- IT skills – being able to record the details in the LD-Control platform (iPad)
- A committed can-do positive attitude with the ability to integrate and work as a member of a team
