The Director, Global Consent – Data Management, is responsible for establishing a data management structure that incorporates Mastercard’s Data & Tech Responsibility Principles into Open Banking globally. This role will partner across markets to define data scopes necessary to deliver innovative use cases with partners, establish a data services layer to empower data science, including AI and ensure compliance with market regulations. Data responsibility is at the core of Mastercard’s business and this role is a critical function to establish consistency globally while supporting flexibility to accommodate differences across markets.
- Responsibilities
- Open Banking Data Strategy: Establish a global data management strategy across Open Banking products that extends into open finance use cases.
- Establish a common data model that supports:
- Consented vs. non-consented data
- Licensed vs. unlicensed use cases
- Regional and market-specific data requirements (e.g., FCRA, CDR, 1033, etc.)

- Proven product leader with demonstrated ability to launch and scale complex, API-driven solutions – while explaining it simply.
- Technical proficiency with a deep understanding of system dynamics, platforms and API designs to optimize solutions for clients and users.
- Data science experience to connect data access, data rights with modeling to achieve tangible business outcomes.
- Mission driven to operate in the Mastercard Way: Move Fast, Create Value, and Grow Together.
- Understanding of Open Banking with proficiency in core use cases (e.g. account opening, payments, lending).
- Creative problem solving that brings in different perspectives connecting client needs with Mastercard strategy.

- Team builder with strength in connecting people and ideas across the business and geographies.
- A bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
