The Role:

Leidos UK is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Business System Analyst to join our dynamic team of IT experts. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for infrastructure and tooling, particularly those with experience in operational support environments.

What will I be doing?

You will provide day-to-day second-line support for infrastructure services, assist the Service Desk with escalated issues, and work closely with third- and fourth-line vendor experts to resolve complex incidents and problems. This is a hands-on role with the potential to contribute to system design, change management, and process development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SaaS (Kahootz) Platform Management: Manage user access and permissions, ensuring timely resolution of user requests. Act as the first point of contact for platform-related queries and support.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Prepare and deliver weekly programme status reports for both the customer and internal leadership teams. Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support operational insight and decision-making.
  • User Training and Support: Deliver structured training sessions and create supporting documentation for end users. Gather and act on feedback to improve platform usability and adoption.
  • Business Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for platform improvements. Support ongoing evaluation of platform performance and user engagement.

Keeping an eye on the technology landscape is essential, too – identification of new and relevant technologies to solve problems and make improvements is part of the job. To work with our talented team and our customers you would need to be able to achieve security clearance.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Proven experience in a business analyst or service desk role, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Power BI and Excel for data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or service management best practices is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.

It would be ideal if you also had:

  • Experience delivering end-user training and support documentation.
  • Understanding of user access management and SaaS platform administration.
  • Ability to interpret and present data clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Occasional travel to other Leidos and customer sites may be required.
