12 month FTC VP/Associate Director, Digital Marketing – RBC BlueBay12 month FTC VP/Associate Director, Digital Marketing – RBC BlueBayRoyal Bank of Canada London, United Kingdom12 month FTC VP/Associate Director, Digital Marketing – RBC BlueBayJob SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?This is a 12 month FTC maternity cover at VP/Associate Director level.This position is full time and requires a minimum of 4 days in the office per week, with the option to work one day from home.What will you do?Email marketingYou\’ll work hands-on in SFMC and Hubspot helping to build, manage and optimise customer journeys.You won\’t need to do any copywriting or design – this role is focused on the technical setup, automation and data use.You\’ll work with internal teams and external partners to make sure everything runs smoothly.Hands on experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create, test, and deploy single and multi-step email campaigns, landing pages, events and webinarsUse Customer data to personalise communications and improve engagementDevelop email strategy that drives customer retention and lead generation through customer life cycle analysis and lead scoringBased on performance, suggest improvements to make campaigns more effectiveResponsible for the delivery, data segmentation and post analysis of email campaigns – managing A/B tests, with presentation of results for monthly and quarterly meetingsMake sure all marketing campaigns follow company policy and data privacy rulesCollaborate with vendors and teams to solve issues and keep things running smoothly.CampaignsWork with the team to formulate and run digital campaigns in line with marketing and business objectivesIdentify best campaign tactics to drive desired outcomesDefine KPIs, monitor campaign performance, develop dashboards, prepare reports, and identify areas for improvementWork with different sales distribution channels and understand the sales structure to build effective distributions lists and lead scoring capabilitiesBrief and oversee work of external agencies.AnalyticsUse our analytics tools and dashboards to provide regular insights and reporting focusing on key performance indicators across the website, social, email, organic & paid search.Subject matter expertKeep informed and share knowledge of digital marketing trends particularly email marketing trendsProvide input into evaluating new technologiesWork closely with other parts of the business to provide digital support and advice.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveExtensive experience in digital marketingPassionate and driven in all aspects of digital marketingStrong project management skills and ability to manage and work with a budget, meet deadlines for multiple projects and ensure ROI on marketing campaignsHands on experience with Salesforce Marketing CloudExperience in content management systems and HTMLExperience in Google AnalyticsKnowledge of LinkedIn ad platformAbility to report data, recognise trends and analyse and communicate the success or otherwise of campaigns.Nice-to-haveStrong interest in financial services marketingAn excellent eye for detail and good proof-reading skillsTeam playerBeneficial to have experience in financial compliance proceduresKnowledge of Hubspot but hands-on experience is a nice to have.What is in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best – progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
