The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The Business team provides a mix of accounting services, including bookkeeping, forecasting, year end accounts preparations and tax returns. We have a relationship centric approach and are trusted advisors to clients of all shapes and sizes, but they are typically owner managed businesses, giving you the opportunity to deal directly with the decision makers and to truly help shape the direction of their firm.
You will be responsible for supporting the partner in the delivery of non audit services to clients primarily in the healthcare sector and helping them to grow our offering in this space.
What will I be doing?
As an Accounts Manager in our Business team you will have ownership of the following tasks :

Management of own portfolio including everything from workforce planning, management of WIP and billing.

Demonstrating a clear understanding of assignment plans and briefing team members accordingly.

Delegating work to more junior members of the team and ensuring work is done on budget.

Signing off on files prepared by more junior team members and producing completed files for final partner review.

Working with partner to plan ahead and effectively manage workflow for team.

Building and further developing client relationships with existing and new clients.

A professional accounting qualification – ACA or ACCA (minimum criteria)

Experience of managing a portfolio of healthcare clients requiring statutory accounts preparations and tax computations (minimum criteria)

Commercial and proactive approach to client development

Good working knowledge of accounting software
