Lease Advisory Director in Central London

TML are partnered with a leading, London based property consultancy based. Based in the heart of the West End our client searches for a Lease Advisory expert at either salaried director level or experienced Associate Director. This role will suit someone who is driven, entrepreneurial and with a keen interest in providing high levels of service to the industry. With a myriad of clients, this firm cover commercial space including investors, developers, and occupiers in private sector. With over £300k in case work ready to be actioned our client requires a focussed individual to use their expertise to help grow this business unit, with a view to expanding their ever developing presence in Central London and the South East.

Reporting to the Equity Directors of the firm, this opportunity promises to offer unrivalled career progression for someone looking to run/develop a department themselves, work on interesting instructions with a significant caseload of referred business where limited BD is required. Our client work across all sectors of commercial and some residential property covering retail, business space, trade related premises, and Industrial sites. You will be responsible for full L&T duties covering in the main, the below for both landlord and occupiers:

• Lease Renewals
• Lease Regears
• Lease Surrender
• Rent Reviews

What do you need to be successful as the Lease Advisory Director?

• Experience in Rent Reviews, Lease Renewals, Lease Restructuring/Lease surrender, Dispute Resolution (Expert Witness work for Arbitrations, Independent Expert Determinations and Court proceedings is advantageous)
• Experience in analysing leases and excellent knowledge of landlord and tenant acts
• Keen interest in developing a department in line with the long term vision of the equity shareholders.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong analytical and research skills
• MRICS
• Registered Valuer (Advantageous)
