Multi Trade Operative in South East London

We are looking for a direct Builder/Mult Tradder to work within the Installation department. Please find job description attached.

Ideally based in a location to cover SE,BR,DA,ME,TN,BN,SM,RH and GU. There would be expected to cover other areas and when required.

Details:

• Basic rate is on a guaranteed 45hr week (35K a year) Easily able to earn overtime in day, IE-complete the days work set out by 2/3pm, then can and would be expected to take extra work and earn more, most guys easily able to get 50/55hrs a week without working outside of the working day.
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holiday
• Van stock, drills and equipment provided. Hand tools to be provided by the candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Working at heights using scaffold & ladders
• Completing roof work for vertical flues & weather proofing tiles
• Installing & fabricating wooden boxing (Beneath boilers & around flues)
• Plastering small areas on walls & ceilings
• Making good brickwork & matching with mortar
• Installation of ceramic tiles to boxing etc
• Develop effective working relationships with colleagues, partners, and key stakeholders to support the delivery of a customer focused service
• Carry out all duties in accordance with safety regulations and Health and Safety procedures whilst working on site
• To be aware of legislation, codes of practice and good working practices relevant to all work activities
• Ensure you operate in compliance with all Risk Assessments, to ensure the health and safety of employees and customers
• Drive and be responsible for a company vehicle in accordance with company procedures
• Complete all necessary associated work documentation & update all electronic forms to keep all job information up to date ready for invoicing
• Competence in IT system- such as handheld tablet/communicator
• Organise own workload to ensure effective use of time and to comply with job targets
• Maintain, materials and equipment guarding against loss or theft, take responsibility for replacing van stock and keep all plant & tools in good working order to complete works
• To demonstrate personal and professional behaviours that meet with our core values
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence
