Role: Tech Lead .NET Developer

Must Have GDS Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance .NET/C# applications in anAgiledevelopment environment.
• Work closely withcross-functional teamsincluding Business Analysts, Product Owners, and UX Designers.
• Build, test, and deployhigh-quality, scalable, and secureapplications in line withGDS service standards.
• DevelopRESTful APIs and microservicesusing .NET Core.
• Ensure applications meetGDS guidelines, accessibility, and security requirements.
• Work withDevOps teamsto implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Maintain high coding standards and best practices, followingSOLID principlesandTDD/BDDmethodologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven commercial experience in .NET/C# development(ideally .NET Core & .NET 6/7).
• Experience working onGDS projects, followingGovernment Service Standardguidelines.
• Strong understanding ofmicroservices architectureandRESTful API development.
• Experience withAzure/AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge ofSQL Server and NoSQL databases(eg, CosmosDB, MongoDB).
• Proficiency inCI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automated testing.
• Familiarity withsecurity best practices, particularly inpublic sector environments.
• Experience withAgile/Scrum methodologiesand working withinmulti-disciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
