WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Choreograph is seeking a dynamic and strategic VP, Product Comms to lead our Product Comms team and oversee the development and management of effective, best-in-class product communications and knowledge initiatives. You will be responsible for creating and executing marketing and communications strategies that drive the success of the Choreograph OMS platform and products. You will deliver product marketing & communications that drive revenue and demand using clear, consistent, customer-focused messaging on product benefits and functionality. You will target and monitor messaging to drive desired behaviour and outcomes (i.e. product adoption, usage, advocacy, pitch success). This role will be responsible for leading a team of product content, copywriters, production managers and communications experts and ensuring that our product-related communications and knowledge bases are clear, consistent, and effectively distributed to our users. You will be responsible for building an enterprise-wide knowledge system that enhances collaboration across Product, Services and Solutions and you will work in close partnership with the GroupM global marketing team to ensure consistency in Choreograph’s product-related communications with group branding and standards. This role reports directly into the SVP, Product Enablement & Deployment, with a dotted line into GroupM’s Global Head of Product Marketing.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Provide visionary leadership to a best-in-class Product Knowledge team, setting goals and strategies that support Choreograph’s product objectives and are consistent and aligned with GroupM Marketing.
- Partner with product leadership to develop product positioning, value propositions and key messaging to be used in supporting launches, feature updates, sales enablement tools and training materials.
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of specialists, including product content, copywriters, production specialists and communications experts, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Ensure the development and distribution of clear and effective product-related communications, maintaining consistency and clarity across all channels to engage and inform internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the creation and ongoing maintenance of an enterprise-wide knowledge system, integrating resources from product, services and solutions to facilitate easy access to critical information across the organization.
- Collaborate and align with other functional leaders across the Deployment & Operations and Product Marketing org.
- Establish and uphold standards and best practices, ensuring high-quality, consistent and clear delivery of support documentation across all the team’s product.
- Partner with Product Enablement, and Product Measurement to analyse user feedback and engagement metrics, using insights to enhance communication strategies and improve user experience.
- Define and articulate compelling communication campaigns for our products, targeting various audience groups across GroupM and WPP.
- Develop differentiated messaging and positioning strategies that resonate with defined audiences, are tailored for the geographical region and effectively communicate the unique benefits of our products and platform.
- Oversee the creation of product marketing artefacts and the vehicles to distribute them including product guides, one pagers, videos, white papers, newsletters, infographics.
- Ensure that product marketing & communications are consistent across regions and products.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Extensive and proven experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or media industries.
- Proven leadership experience managing a global, cross-function team and driving strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and experience in user communications and engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of product marketing and communications strategies and tactics, with the capacity to distil complex concepts into clear, compelling messaging for diverse product audiences.
- Proven track record of delivering successful marketing product campaigns.
- Deep understanding of digital product.
- Good knowledge of media and ideally a depth of understanding of the media planning & buying landscape.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Strong organization and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for building effective knowledge-sharing cultures within organizations.
- Familiarity with knowledge-sharing platforms and internal learning systems.
- Familiarity with multimedia content production and technical documentation.
- Experience in creating customer-facing product documentation and marketing narratives.
- Experience with technical writing tools.
