School Finance Director | Woodford
Ribbons & Reeves are working alongside an exceptional Academy Trust in Redbridge seeking a School Finance Director. This pivotal role will report directly to the CEO of the trust.
If so, we are actively searching for an individual with experience across school academies or trusts to join this trust as a School Finance Director. You will also be afforded fast track development of leaders for promotion opportunities!
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the CEO and assist the schools leadership team to ensure that each of our schools meet their educational aims.
- Be central to budget negotiations, budgetary control and compliance.
- Take a lead role in the planning, development, design, organisation and monitoring of the finance, technology and premises functions within the schools.
- Be responsible for leading and managing Academy finance & administrative staff.
- Establish commercial links with businesses that can generate educational benefits to students.
- Research and make recommendations regarding the strategic development of the schools as a whole.
- This role requires the highest standards of professionalism at all times as well as high levels of literacy and numeracy.
Salary: £55,000
Contract Type: Full-Time – 52 weeks – Permanent
Requirements:
- A proven track record in managing a finance function to the highest standard, constantly striving to seek improvements in processes.
- The ability to manage time and a finance team, delegating as appropriate, multitasking and working to tight deadlines.
- Expert knowledge of financial regulations.
- Qualified Level 4 Diploma for School Head of Finance (CSBM) or higher; or equivalent with some experience in a senior position or a Member of the AAT with significant relevant experience (essential).
- Experience of developing strategies at a whole school level and delivering on initiatives with maximum impact (essential).
- Extensive experience of financial and budgetary management (essential).
