A Teaching Assistant is needed for a lovely Primary School in the Gateshead area. This full time role is to start as soon as possible and will be ongoing, long term.

This lovely school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal Teaching Assistant candidate would:

  • Have a passion supporting the teaching of children with a variety of needs
  • Have excellent subject knowledge
  • Have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)
  • Be Team Teach Trained
  • Be able to organise themselves
  • Be able to engage with children in a proactive way

In addition, you must:

  • Provide two referees we can contact
  • Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on the level of Teaching Assistant qualification you have achieved and the amount of experience you have to date.
