Early Careers Development Partner

The Early Careers Partner will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain top talent, ensuring that the company remains competitive in the market. This role requires a proactive approach to engaging with potential candidates and building relationships with educational institutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement early careers recruitment strategies.
  2. Engage with universities and colleges to promote opportunities.
  3. Coordinate and participate in recruitment events and career fairs.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to understand workforce needs.
  5. Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and effectiveness.
  6. Help to innovate, enhance, and develop our apprentice, graduate and industrial placement programmes.
  7. Provide advice, guidance and support to managers and mentors across the business.
  8. Oversee the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) account and report on usage of the apprenticeship levy fund.
  9. Facilitate regular networking and development days for apprentices and graduates.
  10. Attend and promote at job and career fairs, assemblies, and events in schools to actively promote Apprenticeships.
  11. Maintain databases for apprenticeships and graduates.
  12. Create monthly data reports on progress against metrics.

About you:

  1. Expertise in apprenticeship standards, Digital Apprenticeship Service, and collaborating with training providers.
  2. Proven experience in Early Careers, Emerging Talent, or Learning & Development roles.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Proficient in using recruitment software and tools.
  6. A proactive and results-driven mindset.
  7. Creative, flexible, and innovative, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  8. Skilled in relationship management, thriving in a highly collaborative team environment.
