Job DescriptionLocal Authority Designated Officer (LADO) | 8462 | Secondment opportunity/temporary contract for 12 months | 37 hours per week | £48,610 to £52,594 per annum | Grade L | Norfolk Are you an experienced social worker ready to step into a role with real influence? We’re looking for a skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO). This is a statutory post that plays a critical role in managing concerns about professionals working with children. As LADO, You WillLead the oversight and coordination of allegations involving individuals in positions of trust. Ensure appropriate and immediate safeguards are in place to protect children. Work closely with agencies, employers, and legal frameworks to ensure a fair, thorough, and child-centred process. This role demands a deep understanding of child protection legislation, strong decision-making skills, and a confident, compassionate approach to advocacy.
