An exciting opportunity for an experienced lifeguard or Duty Manager to support the day to day running of a multi-faceted high-end Sports Centre in North West London!, * Oversee and assist the preparation of all areas for activities and special events as required.

  • Undertake reception, rigging and derigging, cleaning and pool supervision as required.

  • Undertake coaching, including delivering birthday parties and holiday camps, as and when required.

  • Ensure the safe storage of all chemicals and equipment to comply with COSHH regulations.

  • Ensure that the Centre is secure, well maintained and cleaned to the required standards.

  • Carry out daily/weekly and monthly building checks, appropriately flagging any relevant findings or necessary corrective action.

  • Act as a key holder and open and close the facilities ensuring all building and equipment checks are carried out

  • Promote a customer focused environment, generating excellent public relations and customer care

The facilities include a gym, swimming pool, sports hall, studios and sports pitches. My client is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working within the leisure industry as this is a busy and influential role within the business., * National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or ability to obtain it within 3 months of start date.

  • First Aid Qualification or ability to obtain it within 3 months of start date.

  • Good organisational and administrative skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Flexible – able to work shifts and across 7 days

This is a fantastic job in fitness with very good progression opportunities. Flexibility is required as the early shifts start at 6am and the late shifts finish at 10pm. You must be an outgoing character who thrives in and enjoys meeting the demands of a fast-paced environment.
