Quality Control Inspector\\nLocation: Gloucester\\nHours: 7.15am – 4.15pm Monday to Thursday, 7.15am – 12.15pm Friday\\nSalary: up to £35,000 plus excellent benefits\\n\\nPurpose of the Role:\\nWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Quality Control Inspector to join our team. Reporting to the Inspection Team Leader, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspection tasks to ensure products and processes meet company standards, drawings, and customer specifications.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\nIncluding but not limited to:\\n\\n * Perform inspection of products and processes across all areas of quality control.\\n\\n * Ensure conformity of products and documentation to relevant specifications and company standards.\\n\\n * Complete inspection documentation accurately and in a timely manner, including dimensional reports, NDE reports, manufacturing route cards, and calibration records.\\n\\n * Raise non-conformance reports for deviations from specifications or drawings.\\n\\n * Use appropriate quality control measuring equipment and techniques.\\n\\n * Support continuous improvement initiatives within the inspection team.\\n\\n * Ensure all measuring equipment used is within calibration.\\n\\n * Carry out inspections such as hydrostatic testing and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) as required.\\n\\nRequired Skills and Experience:\\n\\n * Time-served engineering apprenticeship.\\n\\n * Engineering qualification (ONC/HNC or equivalent) is essential.\\n\\n * Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 (desirable).\\n\\n * Proficient with inspection equipment: micrometers, verniers, thread gauges, hardness testers, etc.\\n\\n * Competent in reading and interpreting engineering drawings (both component and assembly).\\n\\n * Experience using CMM (manual and CNC) and/or Inspection Arm (desirable).\\n\\n * Familiarity with materials certification requirements
