Financial Analyst

Forge Talent is currently working with a rapidly growing start-up to recruit a personable and highly motivated Finance Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and work closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams to drive strategic and financial performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver actionable insights and make data-driven recommendations to enhance financial outcomes
• Act as a trusted business partner, providing clear and impactful financial analysis to cross-functional teams
• Analyse performance against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers and trends
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly financial reports with insightful commentary
• Build strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of business operations
• Monitor and report on key financial KPIs, ensuring accuracy and clarity for leadership
• Contribute to improvements in financial processes, tools, and automation initiatives
• Support scenario planning, forecasting, and other ad hoc financial analysis

What We’re Looking For

• Part-qualified Accountant
• Previous experience in a commercial finance role, ideally with exposure to business partnering
• Background in retail environment (preferred but not essential)
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage large datasets and develop robust financial models
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
